  • You have the authority to sell and transfer ownership of the item(s).

3. How the Process Works

  • Submission: You submit information and photos of your guitar through our Website.
  • Offer: We provide a preliminary quote based on the accuracy of your submitted details.
  • Inspection: If you accept the quote, you may ship the guitar utilizing the provided prepaid shipping label or choosing a carrier on your behalf. Insurance is not provided by the Website, but highly recommended.
  • Final Offer: After inspection, we issue a final offer.
  • Payment: If you accept, payment is issued via the method you select (e.g., PayPal, check).
  • Return Option: If you decline the final offer, your guitar will be returned to you. Shipping costs for returns may apply.

4. Accuracy of Information

All offers are based on the condition, authenticity, and specifications of your instrument.
DOKS, Inc. reserves the right to:

  • Adjust the final offer if the item differs from your description.
  • Decline to purchase any instrument for any reason.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in cancellation of an offer.

5. Shipping & Liability

  • If DOKS, Inc. provides a prepaid shipping label, you must follow all packing instructions.
  • You are responsible for purchasing insurance.
  • You are responsible for properly packaging your instrument to prevent damage.
  • DOKS, Inc. is not liable for damage caused by improper packaging.
  • Damage, loss, or theft during transit is covered only to the extent provided by the carrier’s insurance.

6. Ownership Transfer

Ownership of the instrument is transferred to DOKS, Inc. only after:

  • Final inspection is complete,
  • Final offer is accepted, and
  • Payment is issued and confirmed.

Once ownership transfers, the sale is final.

7. Payment Terms

Payments are typically issued within 1–2 business days of final offer acceptance.
Payment methods may include:

  • PayPal
  • Business check

DOKS, Inc. is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors.

8. Returns

If you decline the final offer:

  • Your instrument will be returned using the same or equivalent shipping service.
  • Return shipping may be at your expense unless otherwise stated.
  • DOKS, Inc. is not responsible for carrier delays or damage.

9. Prohibited Items

We do not purchase:

  • Stolen instruments
  • Counterfeit or replica instruments
  • Instruments with altered or removed serial numbers
  • Instruments with undisclosed major structural issues

Any suspected illegal items may be reported to authorities.
